Just got back from the infamous 'Vermontville Maple Syrup & Fair'. About a zillion folks were there, and hundreds & hundreds of bikes - didn't expect that !!
We caught a few sprinkles here & there while going TO Vermontville, but coming home - oh man !!!! Fighting head on 30-40 mph winds, raining so hard I was looking around for Noah's Ark, temp dropped about 10-12ยบ. Still I was smiling, saying "oh well, let's get the first 'bad weather ride' out of the way for 2009 - it can't get any worse" ..... then the lighnting started ?!?!?
But I'm home safe - very soggy and slightly chilled - now to soak in the hot tub - ahhhh!
I'd like to say "wish you were with us", but you're my friends, and I wouldn't wish that on you.
